A new online newsletter has been produced by the United Firefighters Union Victoria Branch as part of the campaign to bring the management of Melbourne's Metropolitan Fire Brigade (MFB) to account.

The first edition has been published to coincide with a community meeting at the Footscray Fire Station. It has been called to alert local residents to the MFB mismanagement of the fire station's refurbishment - and how it can be fixed to better protect the community. The newsletter also links to numerous stories about MFB mismanagement that are published on the Firecrisis website.
