Victoria's professional firefighters have requested that their Union, the UFU, publish this website to help seek your support in the campaign for new industrial agreements that deliver a fair deal for the state's firefighters and safety for all Victorians.
The stories you'll find on this site will also help you understand more about the crisis that is occurring in your fire services. MFB and CFA firefighters have tried to have these matters rectified by the Fire Services' Boards, however their requests have fallen upon deaf ears.
To enable firefighters to do their job effectively, could you please support them. You can do this in two ways:
- by asking your local politicians step up and support Victoria's professional firefighters, and
- by demanding MFB and CFA managements do not obstruct or delay the negotiations as firefighters and the UFU bargain in good faith to secure fair industrial agreements.
